Dual Frequency Array Wave Resistivity

/ImageHandlers/WidgetImage.aspx?id=e8c2576e-0682-4384-9ba0-b3b6b1f86803&type=GalleryPictureThe AWR tool is a fully compensated dual frequency (2 MHz and 500 KHz) resistivity tool with 12 diameters of investigation from 3 sensors at spacings of 15", 25" and 45". Three spacings provide robust quantitative data for invasion corrections and processing without dielectric assumptions, or single frequency results.

The AWR tool is rated to operate in environments with pressures up to 25,000 psi and temperatures up to 350 °F/175 °C (static bottom hole temperature). It features a rig site replaceable battery with a 300+ hour capacity for maximum operating flexibility.

The AWR tool is available in nominal collar sizes from 4 ¾" to 9 ½" for hole sizes ranging from 5 7/8" to 26".

The tools modular design allows stacking PathFinder tools in any order in the BHA to meet specific job requirements.

Can be configured to operate in environments with temperatures up to 350°F (175°C) and pressures up to 25,000 psi.

CWR 2 MHz Compensated Wave Resistivity

PathFinder's CWR tools offer the greatest diameter of investigation of any 2 MHz resistivity tool in the industry! It provides 4 resistivity curves (2 phase and 2 attenuation) with symmetrical receiver spacing at 25" and 55" for maximum depth of investigation. Since the transmitter-receiver array is balanced, it provides repeatable measurements that are less susceptible to the noise induced by borehole rugosity and washouts which makes Rt much easier to determine accurately. The CWR's measurements will be made well beyond the invaded zone to give quick and accurate readings through porous and permeable lithology.

Data processing algorithms have been developed than can enhance the functionality of resistivity profiles normally encountered in shallow well environments with corrections thin beds, high dielectric constants and anisotropy.

The CWR tool is available in nominal collar sizes from 4 ¾" to 9 ½" for hole sizes ranging from 5 7/8" to 26".
